Troubleshooting & Support

Common setup failures and the support contact checklist.

Target Does Not Process

Check:

  • the target is enabled
  • the target has a MeshFilter or SkinnedMeshRenderer with a valid mesh
  • the target is not missing or unsupported

Nothing Is Created

Check:

  • Output Folder is assigned
  • the output folder is a valid folder inside Assets
  • required materials are assigned if you are using custom materials
  • at least one target is enabled

Advanced Runtime Visuals Are Missing

Check:

  • Advanced mode is selected
  • the line and point materials are valid
  • compatible advanced shaders are assigned
  • the target received the advanced runtime setup

Simple Overlay Does Not Appear

Check:

  • Simple mode is selected
  • the static overlay material is valid
  • the overlay child was created
  • the baked asset was generated

Post Process Result Looks Wrong

Check whether the target is transparent.

The fullscreen/post-process workflow is stable for opaque objects, but can be unreliable for transparent ones because they usually do not write depth.

The fastest reports are the ones that show the exact target object, selected mode, and the point where the expected result stopped appearing.
