Troubleshooting & Cleanup
Common failure cases, removable folders, uninstall guidance, and support contact. If The Effect Does Not Render
Check the setup in this order:
- confirm you are following the correct pipeline chapter
- confirm the required Render Features or HDRP custom post-process order were added
- confirm the effect is in the correct Volume
- confirm camera post-processing is enabled
- test with one strong effect only
If the effect exists in the UI but nothing changes visually, the problem is almost always setup.
If The Result Looks Wrong
The usual causes are:
- too many effects stacked at once
- poor render order
- parameters pushed too far before the base pass was validated
Fix it by reducing the stack to one effect, validating it, then rebuilding from there.
Safe Project Cleanup
According to the original package notes:
Required folders:
ResourcesScripts
Do not remove those. Removing them will break the asset.
Optional content:
ExampleScene
You can remove example content after testing if you do not need it in the project.
Uninstall
Before deleting package files, run:
Tools -> GlitchLabProSetupTool -> Remove
This cleans up Render Features and references added by the setup tool.
